How does Unicorn Inc Work ?
Its simple really – You register as a vendor with us and upload your products to the online platform. We agree and set a commission that unicorn Inc will deduct from your payment Monthly. Commissions are set based on your product type and your fulfillment option.
Do I Need to show my trade license to register ?
We do not require to see trade licenses from all vendors. We only need to see a license when there is a food item involved and sometimes cosmetics – for obvious reasons – we need to ensure that those vendors have all the required paperwork for food and cosmetic services. We would hate to open the door to injury from Un-licensed food and cosmetic vendors. This being said – as per the UAE laws and regulations – Every trader should be in possession of a trade license. This is each vendors responsibility.
Do my products need a barcode ?
No, unlike Amazon you do not need a barcode for your products but we do advise you use a number to identify the products. We call this an SKU. If you are choosing to have your products forfilled by unicorn in then you will need an barcode, we can provide one for you (at a small charge) if you do not have one.
How is this different to Amazon and Noon ?
We are much smaller for one and we are focusing on the small business not large commercial goods. Specifically we are focused on handmade and bespoke products and small businesses or those who need an e commerce platform but are not ready to make that comitment – You will not have your listing lost next to large household appliances and other highly commercial goods.
Is there a listing fee?
No it is free to list your products. We only take a commission when your goods are sold.
Can we sell food Items ?
Yes you can sell food items as long as you can deliver them properly. If you are selling food items you MUST have possession of a commercial kitchen agreement where you product your goods. If there are any questions from authorities regarding your licenses they will be directed to you. By registering as a vendor your will be agreeing to these terms. Any Vendor providing any food items needs to show a license copy when registering.
